Weekend Hill Trip: Surat to Lonavala and Back
Day 1 — Departing Lonavla: At 5.30 in the morning, we take off for Mumbai by driving along the NH-48, and then get onto the Pune expressway up to Lonavla. The journey to Lonavala from Surat takes roughly 6 - 6.5 hours with a stop for breakfast, on the way at around the Khopoli exit of the expressway.
