Today, Rayadurg is known for being one of the largest garment industries in South India, with exports worth Rs. 200 crore annually. The town is also famous for its silk sarees, particularly for marriages. A popular landmark in Rayadurg is Laddu Suri Angadi, a sweets stall located in the Main Bazaar, renowned for its mouthwatering laddus, Mysorepak, Kara (a type of mixture), and other delicious sweets.
