Haridwar to Chardham Yatra is one of the very famous route of Uttarakhand, India. Char Dham Yatra also known as Chota Char Dham shrines is the holy journey form me to the God in the lap of Himalayas with scenic beauty, picturesque views where the presence of the god can be feel by the blowing wind, up and down landscape, pristine water of the holy rivers.

Badrinath is Situated near Alanknanda river, in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, is most sought after pilgrimage destination of North India. This place is sacred to Vishnu. It is believed that Lord Vishnu present here in his dual form of Nara-Narayana. Badrinath is also important in Jainism as numerous Jain Muni got Moksha by performing Tapsya in Himalayas (Mount Kailasha). Attraction of Badrinath are Badrinath temple, Tapt Kund, Neelkanth Parbat, Vasundhra falls, Bhim pul and Sheeshtal.
Kedarnath is the holiest pilgrimage for Hindus. Apart from strong religious belief Kedarnath has unmatched natural beauty which also attracts adventure seekers for trekking. Kedarnath is situated in middle of Garhwal mountains and Mandakini river is flowing in front of Kedarnath shrine. Kedarnath temple can only be reached from Gaurikund through a trek. Kedarnath shrine is surrounded by snow covered mountains and alpine forests. Immediately behind the temple is Keadardome peak. Other attractions of Kedarnath are Sonprayag, Gaurikund temple, Vasuki tal and for adventure seekers the famous Chadrashila trek.
Yamunotri is located in the laps of Garwhal - Himalayas in district of Uttarkashi. Yamunotri is very sacred place for Hindu pilgrims and is source of River Yamuna. Yamunotri has spiritual significance, surrounded by mountains of all sides and lies in close proximity of IndoโChina border. Yamunotri is also considered as home of sage Asti. Yamuna originates from the Champasar Glacier, which is located below Banderpoonch peak. The temple at Yamunotri is closed during winters โ it closes on the Diwali day and reopens on the auspicious day of Akshaya-Tritiya (April/May). For the interim the village of Kharsali is home to the idol.
Gangotri is located among Garwhal Himalayan peaks, glaciers and dense forests in state of Uttarakhand and is one of four stops of Char Dham pilgrimage. It is most sacred pilgrimage town dedicated to Goddess Ganga.According to Hindu religion, Ganga descended from heaven to earth at Gangotri when Lord Shiva released the mighty River from his locks. The origin of river is at Gaumukh in gangotri glacier which is 19 km from Gangotri and is accessible through trekking only. Most important attractions is Bhagirath Shila, Pandava Gufa, Gangotri temple.
