The sanctuary also hosts local birds like dove, bulbul, sparrow, kingfisher, woodpecker, owl, duck, and cuckoo. Migratory birds arrive from late May to early July and leave from mid-December to late January. Their nesting period is from July to August, with egg laying happening in August and September. The best time to observe the birds is during the flying training of the young ones, around October and November. Every winter, approximately 150 bird species arrive, with numbers ranging from 65,000 to 75,000.
